US Angus Tri-tip Steak
The steak is rich in beef flavour. The texture is a bit tough. Together with baked potato and veggies, it is sufficient to fill up the stomach.
Spaghetti in Squid Ink w/ Mussels is alluring in appearance. It looks delicious. But in fact, it is very average only. Mussel is not fresh. To be a chef, they should know whether the mussel is fresh or not. If it is not fresh, it must not be served to diners. Spaghetti is not al dente. Because of this dish, we would not patronize Marilyn Cafe again. Maybe, other course dishes are very good in quality. Or, we are not lucky tonight.
Salad with special sauce is nice.
Chowder Cream soup is the best item in the meal. It is creamy of course, there is also ham in the soup. It is cooked with the best quality. The portion is relatively small.

We have not tried here before. One day, we passed by Marilyn, it was full. It is a small (really smallish) restaurant. A table of 4 diners has to enjoy the meal on the pavement.
We order two main courses, both are served with soup, salad and drink. Chowder soup is definitely outstanding, this is not difficult for chefs to control the quality. But for the main courses, we are quite disappointing. Besides the fact that we are not lucky tonight, the main courses are really cooked without our satisfaction. I am afraid we will not try the second time. We are not contented with stale mussel in any dishes. That is all.
